December 2024

December 1 - Cole's Blessing Day! It was a beautiful blessing given by his daddy.

There are a lot of people that love Cole!

Randy and Courtney provided a nice brunch for everyone.

It's the best job being a grandparent.  Diana with Penny and Scottlynn, and Rob with Paul.

December 4 - I love it when I get to spend time with Cole.

December 5 - I love spending time with Penny, too.  She thinks she's funny to "hide" in the desk, and she really was into watching Mickey.

December 6 - Everyone is trying out our new furniture, after they helped haul it into the house.

I just love the many expressions of Cole.

December 7 - Celebrating Maden! He turned 15 on the 5th! How does that happen?

We had a bingo party at Parkwood Meadows.  Even Happy got to come.

Everyone loved playing bingo and getting some nice prizes.

December 8 - Celebrating Jared! He turned 34 on the 11th!

Scottlynn getting some time in the jumper, then she and Penny are "playing".

Pictures of the new furniture without anyone sitting on it.

December 9 - Groveland School's Christmas Program held at the BPAC.  Hallie's class was very cute.  There were a lot of us to see it.

Ryder and Molly's songs were very cute too.  Molly danced And Ryder is just a stud in his sunglasses.

As a bonus, we also get to watch Michael and James perform.  Everyone did a great job.

Cute pictures taken before and after the program.

December 11 - We bought a lift chair for my mom, hopefully it makes her life a little easier. Blake had to modify the base a little so her Sit to Stand will work with it.  He had Blaine and Jerry Anderson help him.  It works great!

December 15 - Scottlynn is checking out Happy.

December 17 - We had a bit of snow overnight, Jared was so nice to come and plow our driveway.

December 18 - More time with Cole! He's growing so fast!

Party at Parkwood Meadows! It was breakfast for dinner and Mr. and Mrs. Claus. The most amazing thing happened, my great niece Danielle actually let me hold her!

December 19 - Beautiful crisp morning.

Oh, the antics of Penny.

I took Penny shopping.  She'll turn two on the 25th! She chose this doll that is almost as big as she is, and this shopping cart.  She didn't want to let the doll go to get buckled in the car seat.

We went to lunch at Wendy's. She's such a happy, smiley girl! She loved running up and down the bench in-between bites of her cheese burger.  I think it's so funny that this little girl knows what a selfie is!

December 21 - Blake and Jared went rabbit hunting out on the desert.  This is the only one they shot.  They saw more, but couldn't hit them.

We went to Texas Roadhouse with Jared's family.  Penny really didn't like sitting on the saddle and having them yell HeeHaw to her.

December 22 - Celebrating Penny!

Penny brought her baby, she shared with Scottlynn.  The doll is the same size as Cole! Blake and the boys took the big TV down and put a Roku Stick in the back, then put the TV back up.  It works great and I'm very grateful.

December 24 - Such a beautiful sky!

We got my dad a lift chair, too.  He loves it.  Brian and Aubrey came to help haul
it in.  Dad had to love on Scottlynn for a bit.

We also bought new rugs for the entryway and living room.  Very different, but I'm liking them.

December 25 - Cindy loved the blanket I sent to her, it's very personalized.  Penny "helped" us open our presents.  The kids all went together and gave Blake money for new tires on Red.  Cindy gave me the cute pictures of her cats and Rucky. Randy and Courtney gave me a wonderful sweatshirt with the grandkids names all on the sleeves.  I love it!

Blake and I in our Christmas red and green.  Scottlynn loves the babies.  Cole is almost grinning and the picture above the bed.

December 26 - A little more snow.

I found a fun place to hang the cute pictures from Cindy.

Scottlynn got to stay with me while her parents were picking up Declan.  She bum scooted over to check out the tree and the buttons on the couch.

December 30 - We had our family Christmas party.  It was the only day that all of us could be together! We played a game with a spinner to see which present we got.  There were gift cards and money.  Clark got the $100.00 box! He was thrilled!

The kids are all anxious to open their one present.

They all got cups that were personalized to them.  Maden's was just plain blue, Annie's has smiley faces, Molly's has dancers, Ryder's has game controllers, Clark's has sharks, Declan's has monster trucks, Hallie's has princess dresses, Penny's has a Christmas elf, Scottlynn's has Bluey, and Cole has a baby turtle. They all seemed to really like them.

Here's the whole Idaho gang of grandkids!

December 31 - Scottlynn likes her tunnel!

We were entertaining Brian's kids while Aubrey had surgery.  We went to Rexburg and ate at The Hickory.  The kids all loved it and ate most of their dinners.

Then, we went to Blast Off, the kids played laser tag, in the arcade, miniature golf and Scottlynn tried to eat my purse.

Maden won the jackpot in the ball drop game.  He got 1000 tickets! the machine ran out of tickets, so they had to come refill it.  It took about 15 minutes to spit all the tickets out.

We went to see my parents at Parkwood Meadows.  They love having visitors.

We brought Maden, Annie, Clark and Declan home with us.  We played some games, their favorite was Uno Attack..  They stayed up until midnight, well, most of them stayed up.  Declan thought he did.
