November 2021

November 5 - I took Hallie and Molly to McDonald's in Idaho Falls, they loved the crowns. (I'm not sure why there were crowns, but they loved them!) Then, we went over to Randy and Julie's new home they were moving into. Molly and Hallie were thrilled to see a kitchen set come in from the trailer.

November 7 - We got to go watch Ryder's first basketball game.  It was pretty cute and pretty comical.

November 7 - Hallie noticed Jared was eating some cheesecake, so she snuck inside his arm for a bite. When Jared's was gone, she came to me for a bite of mine.  She put my arm around her neck like her daddy's had been.

November 13 - Ryder and Molly had their Primary Program practice.  Yuki sent me these cute pictures of them singing.  Then, we took the kids to see Clifford, the big red dog movie.  Everyone liked it.

November 14 - After the Primary Program! We are so proud of these two.  They knew all the songs so well, and said their parts so well! It was a great program, we were way impressed. It was fun that Molly had two sets of grandparents there to support her.

November 20 - I guess I just had to keep up with Blake, after all, he had two surgeries this year.  I had a torn meniscus cleaned up.  The surgery went well.  We went through the car wash on the way home.

November 23 - Molly and Hallie came to visit.  They had fun with my little "peddler". It was fun to snuggle with my Hallie girl.

November 24 - Look at these adorable pictures of Hallie.  She's such a funny little character!

November 25 - Thanksgiving was really different this year.  Brian took Blake, Randy, Aubrey and Declan to Tucano's in Farmington.  He thought it was the best Thanksgiving ever.

I didn't feel ready to ride in the car to go to Tucano's, so I joined my parents and my sister Lynne's family for Thanksgiving dinner.  They were lucky enough to use Matsuura's Clubhouse for the day.

November 26 - Blake, Brian and Randy went rabbit hunting.  There weren't very many rabbits, but they had some fun shooting skeet.

November 27 - Nikelle had a new game, that Maden really liked, he even convinced Grandpa to play with him.  He was the winner most of the time!

November 28 - Impromptu get together at Jared and Nikelle's house.  There was tree decorating, game playing and crafting.  The kids loved it that we found the beads to make some ornaments. Clark thought he was really cool to get to play "Egyptian" with his dad.

November 30 - I decided I needed a little bit of Christmas in our townhouse. I found this cute little tree at a craft store and some little decorations from the dollar store and now we have a cute little tree.

And now a report on the progress, or lack of progress on the new house!

November 1 - We have glass in the front door!

November 4 - There are real poles holding up the patio.

November 8 - Taping and mudding the sheetrock seams has started!

November 10 - More mudding the tape, and doors are delivered.

November 12 - the mudding process takes a long time!

November 18 - Walls are textured! It's starting to feel like a real house!

October 2021

October 3 - Blake is sporting a new look for some unknown reason, sweat pants, work boots and a button up shirt.

October 8 - Jared, Nikelle and I took all the kids to see The Addams Family 2, they all loved the movie, but I think they were all more excited to go inside the new McDonald's in Blackfoot.

October 11 - The first snow of this winter. A funny thing happened as I was taking pictures of the huge flakes out my back door, my neighbor behind me was doing the same thing.  We had a good laugh about it.

October 12 - More snow...

October 15 - My 63rd birthday! We went to lunch with my parents, Cindy sent me flowers, then we went to Idaho Falls to pick up some chairs with Jared, Molly and Hallie, then we ate at Arctic Circle.  It was a good day.

October 16 - We got to see Clark play in his first ever basketball game.  I think he was way excited that it's finally his turn to play.  It was fun, a good comical release! He's pretty tiny, but he's pretty good at dribbling the ball. We missed Maden's game because it was at the same time as Clark's.

Later in the afternoon, we got to see Annie play.  This is her 3rd year, and it's quite amazing how much more she understands the game and plays so good.

October 18 - I got to watch Hallie for a while, then we got to pick Molly up from the bus.  She had "bought" these funny glasses at school, and Hallie thought she should wear them every second.

October 23 - Nikelle, Molly, Hallie and I went to the Craft Show/Carnival at Snake River High School.  The girls loved all the fun carnival style games.  They actually had some really cute games that I had not seen before.

October 25 - Ryder came to hang out with me for awhile, we played the new game that involves dice, and a fidget bubble popper.  It was pretty fun.  Then, I took him and Molly (Nikelle and Hallie went too) to Matsuura's Club house for a Primary Program Practice/Family Home Evening.  It was really fun to listen and watch as they practiced singing "I Am a Child of God" in Japanese.  They love it.  Then, Yuki and Raymond gave them some Japanese treats.

October 27 - Nikelle and I took Hallie to the Snake River Library Story Time.  They went trick or treating to some classrooms at the high school. Hallie is such a cute little kitty.

I got to go spend the afternoon with my Annie girl.  She's turning 9 on the 30th. We had a late lunch at McDonald's, then went shopping at Target, then went to get ice cream at Reed's Dairy.  She loved that they had the pumpkins to vote on again this year.

October 28 - Nikelle took me to the trunk or treat for Groveland Elementary.  It was fun seeing all the kids and their costumes, I especially loved seeing this cute Dalmatian, aka Molly.

October 30 - Our sweet Annie is 9! I see from these pictures that it really is true, but I really can't believe it! Annie is a kind, creative, happy, energetic, talkative, inquisitive, fun loving girl.  We love her to pieces!

It was a busy day!  Starting out watching Maden play basketball.  He made a basket!

Then, Brian planned a party for Annie.  We had German Pancakes and Bacon, because those are Annie's favorites.  Then, she had a donut cake!

Next came presents! She was thrilled with the art supplies and clothes, but was over the top thrilled with the hover board from her dad!

Next, Annie's ballgame.  It was way fun that her team and their parents sang "Happy Birthday" to her after the game.

Now onto the Halloween celebrations! Jared and Nikelle were leopards! I got to take fun pictures of their animal family out on their swing! We got to see My niece, Michelle and her boys all in their fun costumes along with my nephew Dallin's little girl. They all went to Groveland School to the trunk or treat. Cute little Kitty Hallie, Molly, the Dalmation, Annie the Angel, Clark is Winnie the Pooh, Ryder is Mario. We got to have cute little Spiderman, Declan join us, and Maden was Aang from a show called The Last Avatar. They all had a lot of fun, and got a lot of "treats".

October 31 - Brian brought Aubrey and Declan and his kids to Jared's house to play pickle ball.

Then, they had a fun game of Egyptian!

Now for a report on the new house for October!

October 1 - They poured the cement for our driveway and front porch!

October 2 - Jared and Blake finished up the rough in wiring. It is a huge job! Well done, Jared! Molly and Hallie liked taking sandwiches to the New House to eat with Daddy and Grandpa.

October 6 - They're pouring the cement for the sidewalk and the patio!

October 8 - Insulation going in the walls!

October 9 - Insulation all in, outside doors delivered.

October 13 - The door leading to the garage and the patio doors are installed.  (the garage door needs to be switched so it swings the other way.)

October 15 - Blake, Jared and Randy bury a pipe for the sprinkling system. Sure is nice that Jared has connections that let him borrow this digger.

October 20 - The sheet rock is delivered, and some windows are installed and the front door is installed. There is one window that needs to be changed, can you spot the problem?

October 25 - Dirt is being moved around the house, there is sheet rock in the ceiling on the main floor, and more windows installed.

October 26 - The sheet rock is on most of the walls on the main floor.  It's really starting to look like a house!

October 27 - The main floor is completely sheet rocked, and the basement has the ceilings done. I think hanging sheet rock is a hard job!

October 28 - The garage is all done!

October 29 - Most of the sheet rock is hung in the basement!
