Tennis this week

Jared only had two matches this week due to inclimate weather. They played Hillcrest on Tuesday and lost that match.
They played Highland on Wednesday and won that one!

They were supposed to have a match on Thursday, but it was cancelled because of this.....

Brian and Celia are playing in a tournament at Apple Athletic in IF. They are playing singles, then mixed doubles. Celia had never played a singles match before, let alone in a tournament, but wanted to try it. She was the only one to sign up in the beginner bracket, so they asked her if she would play up, which she did. It was a pretty tough match and she was pretty nervous, but at least now she has had a little experience.

Brian was the "come back" kid in his match. He got down 0-5 in the 1st set and came back and ended up playing a tie breaker and winning it 10-8. Then he was able to win the 2nd set 6-2!
(I forgot to change the setting on my camera so these indoor pictures are blury.)

Jared tried on his tux on Friday! Looks pretty good! He asked Nancy Anderson to prom. Saturday morning they went 4 wheeling at the Rose ponds. They had Blake hide their lunch along the trails before they got there. Then they rode around and found the lunch and stopped and had a little picnic.

They ate dinner at our house after they had gone to have their pictures taken. This is what the table was decorated like. It looked pretty fancy.

They doubled with Jacob Hong and Stephanie Turpin.

Just chilling after dinner before heading to the dance!

Jared and Tennis

This tennis season has been rough, it's been hard to get any matches in because of the winter weather we keep having. There was a match cancelled this week because it was snowing in Idaho Falls.

They were able to play 2 matches this week. Jared is playing mixed doubles with a sophomore Megan Dalley. They lost to Skyline on Thursday.

They were able to win Sugar Salem on Friday! They have about the same number of wins as losses. They have about 5 matches left until tournament.Who knows what the district tournament will bring, hopefully not snow.

This is what our house looked like this morning! April 16th! At least it wasn't a foot of snow. This really has been a long winter, and it just keeps on going and going and going and going. Jared has had more tennis matches cancelled due to weather than he has been able to play.

These were taken on Saturday, April 12 in Island Park. There is still over 4 feet of snow up there. They may have snow all year round!

Missionary Life

Randy's cooking moose steak, he said they were good.
He's showing off his new watch. He lost his other one in a snow bank that he was high jumping into. This is what his nose looked like after an activity on P-Day. He says it's still a little crooked, but it looks almost normal now.

Randy's Christmas

These are pictures of some of his Christmas Presents

This was taken on Christmas Day, in Winnipeg

Right now, Randy is serving in Regina, SK. He is serving in a Young Single Adult ward and also as a Zone Leader. Here is a picture of the house he is living in. He's been here since the middle of Feb. He says the snow is gone now and it's starting to look more like spring.
