June 2022

June 1 -They started prepping our driveway and Randy's for asphalt! They kind of got stuck in Randy's!

June 2 - We have the best news! Jared and Nikelle will be adding to their family! Baby will come in January 2023! We are beyond excited!

Molly received the citizenship award at Groveled Elementary's award assembly on the last day of school.  Ryder wanted to go with me to see her get the award, it was fun to watch.  He and Hallie thought this pickup with eyelashes that was parked in front of the school was really funny.

Pouring the cement for the sidewalk in the back of the house!

Ryder and Hallie are playing on the 4 wheeler.  Blake and Randy bought a new trailer to haul the lawn mowers on.  Later in the evening, they went to the archery range and took the kids with them.

June 3 - Blake and Randy rented a skid loader to haul some dirt to the back yard.  It was many loads that came from the pile in the yard next to ours.  It was kind of hard to load it back on the trailer.  After they got the dirt brought over, Blake ran a harrow over the ground to smooth it out.

June 4 - Blake, Brian, Randy and Ryder, and Jared, Molly and Hallie went golfing in Shelley.  The kids loved driving the golf cart.

Jared helped trim our tree. Hallie "did not take a nap." Jared took his family for a little spin on the 4 wheeler.

June 6 - Not a picture I wanted to take! The carpet in the office was wet again! Josh came over and found that only the carpet was wet, it was not wet in the wall, which is good news. Now we just have to figure out where the water was coming from.  We think it came from under the pillars, so they put a bunch of silicone under it.  Hopefully, that does the trick!

I got to go watch Annie play softball.  She has worked hard and improved a lot.  She got a couple of really nice hits.

Then, in the evening, I got to go watch Molly dance.  She has also improved a lot and seems to have a lot of confidence.  Hallie "did not nap" during the performances. It was fun to be a grandma sandwich with Molly's Grandma Bair.

June 7 - I decorated the front porch for Independence Day!

Now, the driveway is all paved!

The wall is all taped and textured.

June 9 - The 2nd coat of the texturing is done.

We got an anniversary present! Our Dining Table finally came! I went to Idaho Falls with Randy to pick it up! Brian came down and helped Randy put it together.  It looks so good! We waited for 9 months for it to come! The old table looks good down in the family room, and will be so nice for crafts and games.

While the guys were putting the table together, Ryder, Clark and Declan had a great time playing in the basement.

Ryder and Molly have been on different baseball teams, and they were playing each other.  We just always cheered for the team at bat.

I guess this is another anniversary present. I ordered this cute ottoman and chair for our room, and they came on the 9th! I love them! We took the chair that was in our room downstairs to the "suite room", it looks perfect there!

Just some boys playing with their toys.  Brian and Randy had to see if the 4 wheelers would fit on the trailer.

June 10 - I got to take this cute Clark boy to lunch and go shopping! We went to Chick Fil A of course! We got a 30 piece nugget to share.  He loves wearing the glasses he got during the Easter treasure hunt.  We went to game stop, but they didn't have the game he really wanted, so we went to Target and he found a game he thought would be fun. I loved spending the day with Clark.

June 11 - Sprinklers! They rented a machine to pull the pipe, Jared borrowed this little digger from Brent, and the work began!

We took a break from sprinklers to celebrate Clark! His birthday is on the 18th.  He wanted a "Sonic" cake, but there were no sonic action figures to be found, so I printed some pictures and made them into standup figures for the cake.  He used the extra pictures and made a garland for the stairs.  I'm glad he loved it!

June 12 - Brian came down hoping to play some pickle ball, but it was rainy, so we settled for some card games.  The kids thought it was done raining, so they went outside, and got caught in a downpour.  They were dripping wet, but were all smiles.

June 14 - I went to the Pocatello Temple with my sister Lynne, Rob and Ryan. It was really nice to go with Ryan as he getting ready to go on his mission to Puerto Rico.

Poor Paul got accused of making this mess! Actually, he was just trying to get to the bus in the back! It took me a couple of days, but it definitely looks better.

June 15 - More baseball with Molly!

June 18 - Clark is 7! I love looking at the pictures and seeing him grow before my eyes.  Clark is such a quiet, happy, smart, energetic, game loving, curious, and sweet little guy! We love you Clark!

Blake, Brian and Jared went to an Archery shoot out by Kilgore. They had a great time shooting at the 3-D targets.

June 20 - Blake got the Hydrangeas planted! He dug a hole under the curbing, so help some with the puddling.  It rained hard, so he tried to get the water out of the low spot in the driveway with a snow shovel.

June 22- Watching Ryder play soccer! he really loves this game, and plays really well.

June 23 - Blake had some good little helpers bringing more dirt into the yard, and harrowing.

We took Molly, Ryder, Hallie and Nikelle to Idaho Falls to buy a tree, then we met up with Brian and Randy and Courtney at Chick Fil A. The kids thought it was funny to share a 30 piece nugget with me.  On the way home, we stopped for some ice, Hallie wanted to hold it, but only lasted about 20 seconds before she had to drop it to the floor.

We met up with Jared at the cemetery to commemorate Brody's 5th birthday.  We blew some bubbles and the kids ran around.

After the cemetery, we came back to our house to plant our little hydrangea tree.  We named it "Our Brody Tree". We love you Brody, and anticipate the day we can be reunited.

June 25 - Blake, Randy and Jared left at 4:00am on Friday, June 24  heading toward Sycamore, Illinois to pick up a dump trailer.  They got as far as West Des Moines, Iowa. They got up early again on Saturday, and got to Sycamore about 9:00am.  they picked up the trailer and then started on their way back.

Since the guys were gone, Courtney, Ryder, Nikelle, Molly, Hallie and I took off for Evanston, Wyoming.  My nephew, Ryan would be speaking in church in Woodruff, Utah on Sunday before leaving on his mission.  We stopped at McDonald's in Pocatello, then headed for the hotel in Evanston.  Ryder and Molly loved playing the switch in the car. The kids had a great time in the swimming pool. They all snuggled in the bed for a little while.  Molly even lost a tooth.
Blake, Randy and Jared decided to just head to Evanston, and got there about 4:30am on Sunday!

June 26 - Courtney, Nikelle, Ryder, Molly, Hallie and I left the hotel and went to Woodruff to hear Ryan speak, he did a really good job.  Blake, Randy and Jared slept until time to check out, then met us in Woodruff for the lunch for Ryan.

Once again, Hallie did "not nap" in the car on the way home.  Ryder and Molly had fun with the switch and iPod.  They were very good travelers! Thanks Courtney for being our chauffeur!

Brian and Aubrey came down for some pickle ball.  Even the little kids got on the court! Then, Brian came to our house, Clark kept hiding under the table every time I tried to take a picture.

June 27 - Blake and Randy decided that the trailer they had bought was not long enough, so they went back to Riverside Boot and Saddle and traded it for a a 20 foot one.  We'll see if it works better.

June 30 - Grass being Hydroseeded!

Our neighborhood had a water party, they invited Molly and Hallie too! Ryder and Molly had a great time on the big water slide.

May 2022

May 3 - This is not an old picture! It happened again!  I was changing the calendar and found wet carpet! The insulation was wet in the wall again, too! A guy came and did some fixing on the roof.  We hope this works this time!

May 5 - I got these beautiful flowers from Cindy and Ken! I love them! The carpet is dry, and the wall has been taped and textured.

May 7 - We celebrated Randy's 34th birthday at Longhorn Steakhouse.

May 9 - I got these beautiful flowers from Aubrey! I love them too!  When they pulled the paint tape off the ceiling, it also pulled the paint off the ceiling!

May 10 - Hallie enjoyed her food we got at Costa Vida, she knew exactly what she wanted.  Molly and I liked playing a matching game I made for our Primary class.  They got the ceiling fixed and repainted.

May 11 - The carpet is all laid back down, and the room all put back together!

Finally something is happening in the yard! They came and put the curbing in! It was a very interesting process to watch.

May 12 - Hallie thought she was afraid of the rocking horse at Aunt Merralee's house. (Think back to the fair last year) But, she found out this was a pretty fun horse.  Then we went to McDonald's, she loves the play area and her ice cream cone.  Then, she did not have a nap when we  got home. Wink, Wink.

May 14 - Hallie loves to help her daddy mow the lawn!

May 15 - Finally a nice enough day to play some pickle ball!

Annie and Hallie had a great time playing on the trampoline.

There was sidewalk chalk fun, games with a big ball and a bunch of swinging.

We also had a little corn hole tournament. The tulips are gorgeous, and Hallie girl is so cute!

May 19 - Hallie is "not" napping again. Hehe.  Blake bought a May Day tree, hopefully we'll be able to plant it someday.

May 20 - I got to take Ryder to lunch and shopping!  He chose to eat at Pizza Hut, he loves the breadsticks there! Then we went shopping at Walmart, he knew he wanted a certain video game and some monster trucks.  We had a fun afternoon.

We got our front door painted! I love it! They also painted the window side of the patio door that had not ever been painted.

May 21 - Lagoon!  Molly was dancing at Lagoon, so Brian took his kids, Blake and Aubrey to see her dance and play at Lagoon.  They met Jared, Nikelle and kids there.  It was a good thing Blake went, so Brian could go do the big kid stuff and Blake could take Clark to the things he was tall enough for.

Cousin Michelle Cook and her family went to Lagoon too! They all had a great time!

May 22 - Fun times at Jared and Nikelle's house.  Games, food, riding people like horses and naps!

May 23 - Ryder turned 7! Look how he has grown! He is a very smart, happy, energetic, talkative, determined, fun loving, sweet boy. We love you, Ryder!

We went to have cake and ice cream to celebrate Ryder!

May 24 - I went to watch Maden run the 200 in his 6th grade track meet.  It was really great to see him come from almost last in his heat to come in 2nd! I was so glad that I went to watch him!

I drove from Idaho Falls to Pocatello to go to the temple, it was definitely worth the drive!

May 27 - We rented a little skid loader to bring some dirt into the yard, we had some rock delivered, they came and started to prepare the driveway to be paved, and Jared started laying down the black plastic.

May 28 - Now, for some work to happen!  We rented a different skid loader to move more dirt around.  Brian came early to help get the loader from the rental place, then Jared came later and helped move the dirt.

Now, they get to move the rock into the space between the curbing and the house.  It was a lot of trips from the rock pile to the house.

They planted the tree!

The rock got placed all around the house.  It looks so good! The loader needed more weight to smooth it out in the front of the house, so Brian rode in the bucket.  We stored the loader in the garage for the rest of the weekend.

May 30 - Memorial Day - We went to the cemetery, but it was so rainy and cold that we only went to Brody's grave.

We needed a warm, dry place and ended up at Longhorn Steakhouse.  It was very yummy.
May 31 - I braved the cold and wind to go watch Molly play baseball.  So fun to watch these grandkids in all their activities.
