May 1 - Randy pressure washed the outside of the house. It looks wonderful! Ryder and Cole played in the yard.
Cole is getting big enough to reach the counter to line up the cars.
May 2 - Cole and Scottlynn "playing" with each other, and eating snacks.
We introduced Cole to all the fun in Jared's backyard.
May 3 - Adalyn Michelle Cook's blessing day. It turns out that Michelle and I have a mutual good friend in Lesli Jardine. We met her in different ways and discovered that she knew each of us.
We played a version of Corn Hole. Hallie took the pictures!
May 4 - It was fun that my brother Randy came to visit.
May 5 - Groveland Elementary Wax Museum - Molly had the State of Iowa and was portraying Shawn Johnson.
Ryder had the state of Wyoming and was portraying John B Kendrick. They both did a great job on their state projects.
Penny fell asleep in the chair, then she fell out of the chair, rolled over and kept sleeping.
May 6 - I got to watch Penny and Adalyn for a little bit. Penny adores her and thought it was funny that they were wearing "matching" clothes.
May 7 - Penny was so happy to find her shadow again!
May 8 - The Mother's Day lunch at Parkwood. Funny thing - some people thought Michelle, Mom, Adalyn and I were doing a 4 generation photo. Lynne didn't think it was too funny.
May 9 - Cole loves the tractor! Molly, Ryder and Hallie are trying out the new tennis trainer.
I got to visit sweet Addy while her parents worked in the garage. Jared had Penny and Cole help him move Big Red into the garage. Ryder and Cole and I played a dice math game.
May 10 - I love the beautiful flowers Cindy and Ken sent for Mother's Day.
We celebrated Randy! He turned 38 on the 7th.
We divvied up the pull tabs we've been saving all year. Cindy sent a bunch too!
May 12 - Penny found another shadow to play with. Then she made "rug angels" on the newly laundered warm rug.
Cole and Penny had a great time pushing things in the driveway and chasing bubbles and picking up rocks.
May 14 - I took Penny and Paul to Parkwood to see the miniature horses. Penny was leary at first, but Paul taught her it was ok. Aubrey brought Scottlynn and she loved them.
They played with the animals back in Grandpa Paul's and Grandma Beth's room. Then we went back to Michelle's and got to tend Adalyn and Cole too. Cole got just a tad jealous when I was holding Adalyn.
May 16 - We got to watch Cole for a little while, he loves to play chase when you're trying to get him to take a nap.
May 17 - Brian and Aubrey brought a low country boil for dinner. It was quite amazing and good.

May 19 - I made some alphabet fun for Penny. We took her to A&W, then Cole came to play.
May 20 - Fifth Grade Track Meet - Molly's field events were the long jump and the javelin throw.
Ryder's events were the high jump and the long jump. We didn't get pictures of the long jump.
Ryder won his heat of the 100 meter dash.
Molly ran the 3rd leg of the 4x100. Her team placed 2nd.
She also ran the 200.
Ryder ran the 3rd leg of the medley relay. His team came in 2nd.
May 21 - I love it when I get to watch sweet Adalyn.
May 22 - I got to take Ryder to lunch at Pizza Pie Cafe, he ate dessert pizza first! Then we went to Game Stop. He was happy that he found two games he wanted. He'll turn 11 on the 23rd!
We went to watch Molly and Hallie in their dance recital. Molly did so well.
Hallie did so good too!

May 23 - Scottlynn brought a little truck to put by Brody's grave. But, she didn't want to say cheese or smile for the picture.
Jared brought some pop rocks to add a little bang to visiting the cemetery.
It was a nice, windy day visiting Brody.
May 24 - Celebrating that Ryder turned 11! Mikala and Trey got to celebrate too!
May 25 - We celebrated Memorial Day by planting a couple of new plants where some had died.
Blake and Brian were fixing the hitch on the trailer, so Scottlynn was riding the little go cart. It turned into a rough day for Brian after he hurt his back.
We went to eat at the Tokyo Steakhouse. Scottlynn loved the soup on the weird spoon.
She loved coloring and telling me all about the colors. She told me "I'll say cheese now, Grandma."
May 30 - We watched Cole so he didn't have to go to a rainy soccer game. He loves the toys! And we love watching him!
