July 2026

July 2 - Getting the boat ready to launch. Cindy thinks this thing I sent for her birthday is funny! Well, I have to admit, it is quite funny! I didn't know it was so big!

July 3 - Blake is fixing another broken garage door opener. Hopefully, they are fixed for good now.

July 4 - Cole liked being the parade! We had a great spot thanks to Brian and Aubrey! Scottlynn loved the Bluey and Bingo characters.

We had a great dinner, ribs, hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, salads, Yum!

Maden saved all the cinnamon and pepperment taffy for me!

Our neigbors did a great firworks show right in front of our house! (sometimes it was a little too close!)

July 8 - More acrylic suncatchers that I have finished.

July 9 - The new hydrangea plant is doing really well on the north side of the house.

July 10 - I went to lunch at The New Hong Kong with these cute girls and their mom.

July 13 - Just another beutiful start to the day!

July 15 - Scottlynn really wasn't happy about being left with me, so we went to look for kitties and found one! Then, she was fine to spend some time with me.  She played, ate breakfast, read some stories and she sat on "Happy's" bed.

She refused to snuggle with me saying that the she didn't need a nap! Then she fell asleep in her little chair. I was able to get her out of the chair and onto my lap, where she slept for about 45 minutes.

July 16 - Another gorgeous sunrise!. Such an uplifting way to start the day!

July 17 - I got to have another temple day with my mom! Suzanne and I rode the bus with her to the temple. We met Lynne and Rob there! The flowers were awseome, the temple is awesome and the people I was with are awesome.  Mom told me that it just feels almost magical to her.  It was raining when we came out, we had to kind of laugh at how many people said "Oh, it's raining!" as they came out of the temple.

Jared and Nikelle had the Cousins Sleepover in the tent.  Maden didn't come, and Cole didnt stay, but the other 8 had a great time. Even Suzanne got to go eat with us!

July 18. - We had a little party to celebrate my Dad's 85th birthday. Uncle Eldie and Aunt Jane came to wish him well.

Also, Dorine, Lynn and Julene Parsons, Randy and Carol Waite, and Mel Going came. It was nice to see some old friends.

It was a good little party, I think Dad enjoyed it.

July 19 - Penny is so excited to hold this cute little kitten.  On their walk, they got to pet some horses.

Somehow there was an arm wrestling contest.  I'm not sure who won!

Brian and Jared did it right and left handed. The kids thought it was great fun!

Now it moved to leg wrestling! This turned out very funny!

July 20 - We ate outside at Tommy Vaugn's! Blake thought he was funny to feed the seagulls some of his french fries.

July 21 - Dad's birthday! Suzanne and I rode the Parkwood bus to Perkins with Mom and Dad.  It's a good thing for this lift, so mom can get on and off the bus.Dad is showing off his new shoes!

Michelle came for games, so of course I had to take pictures of Addy sitting up so big in the chair.

July 22 - After we dropped Suzanne off at the airport, Blake and I went to the new Lindon Temple. It is beautiful!

July 23 - Oh what a fun night! We ended up with 8 of our grandkids at Texas Roadhouse! Clark had a birthday party, and Cole wasn't quite big enough to join us. Scottlynn licks the butter off her roll like it was frosting. They only downer to the night was getting my strawberry lemonade spilled all down my lap! I was a sticky mess clear down to my shoes!

July 25 - Scottlynn and Penny are painting with water, Molly and Hallie are doing a puzzle. I guess Scottlynn chose Jared as her person to sit by. Penny was so happy to pay with her own money at the Dollar Tree.

The sky was a weird yellow, but, there was a wonderful rainbow!

It was a huge double rainbow!

The night ended with a beautiful sunset.

July 26 - Looks like Scottlynn is chosing Jared again.

July 29 - The Brody Tree is looking good! If you look close in the red circles, you'll see a praying mantis, and a huge red beattle!

We had a huge downpour! It only lasted about 15 minutes, but it was crazy!

July 30 - I decded to see if i liked straight or curly hair better.  I decided I liked curly!

Another bus ride with Mom. We went for a drive around Rigby Lake, then got ice cream at Reed's Dairy.  We both got a german chocolate waflle cone, it was delicious, but just a bit too big.  We both were a ssticky mess!

We had a fun visitor on the patio.

July 31 - I don't know if this big guy spent the night on our patio!

This time it's the moon capturing my attention.  It's hard to get good pictures of the moon.
