Feb. 2 - Counter tops and backsplash in Randy and Courtney's new house! That's Cindy's fingers holding the backsplash up.Feb. 5 - Cindy's standing on the counter to help Randy put the blinds in the window. This is after Randy and Courtney signed the papers at closing! The house is theirs!Feb. 6 - Move in day! This is the only picture I took all day, and no one took any pictures of the moving process either. It all went really smoothly and they got all moved it. Brian's kids and Ryder got hang out with me while everyone was helping move.Feb. 7 - Cindy and Ken's last day here, Randy, Jared and Cindy got in a game of Egyptian before Randy had to go to work.We celebrated Hallie's birthday (it was on the 6th), and Grandma Beth's birthday (it is on the 9th). Hallie loved the singing!Hallie and Grandpa had fun reading some stories and singing "popcorn". Hallie got to open some presents, lots of "Mickey" stuff.Hallie loved showing me all her "Mickey" stuff and wearing her new blanket. She's such a cutie.Feb. 10 - I got to take this cute little 2 year old to lunch and to go shopping for her birthday present. She's lucky enough that her mom got to come with us. I'm really liking this new tradition for the kid's birthdays.Feb. 12 - Well, the middle of February looks a little different than the middle of January. We are so grateful for Randy for plowing us out.Feb. 13 - Randy and Courtney hosted a pizza party in their beautiful new home. Sadly, these are the only pictures I have of the finished house. After pizza, we went bowling at Pindale Lanes. The kids all had a great time. Hallie wasn't very happy about sitting on my lap instead of bowling, so she got a turn at the very end. The grownups had a great time bowling, too. There is just not a way to get real flattering pictures of bowling. But, at least it's documented that they all were there, and that they bowled. This is all of my granddaughters enjoying some ice cream. Annie was very brave and let her dad pull out a molar that was loose, but wouldn't come out. She was relieved when it was out.Feb. 19 - Now, Blake gets to spend some time with baby Paul. We love having him come to visit.Feb. 20 - More winter weather! Ryder had fun plowing with his dad for a little while.Blake has started working at Teton Surgery Center in Idaho Falls, and he disliked the scrub hats there, so he went and chose some fabric and I made him up some that he really likes. Pretty fancy.Feb. 26 - Blake was told by his knee doctor that he needed to ride a bike to strengthen his quads after surgery. Since the weather turned into winter, he got a membership at Anytime Fitness so he can go ride the bikes there. Feb. 27 - Annie had a great time helping me make noodles for the chicken noodle soup. She did a great job, and was very careful to cut them thin and then separate them and put them in the soup. With the help of Brian's friend Kylee, Nikelle and I were successful in planning a surprise party to celebrate Brian's birthday. (His birthday is March 1) He was very surprised and the kids loved surprising him with cards and signs. Hallie loves Brian, and had to be on his lap as we sang and ate soup. He got some new scrub hats too. It's so fun to see Brian so happy. We love you!

January 2021
Jan. 1 - Jared, Randy and Blake started the trimming of the electrical in Randy & Courtney's house. Look at the cool light in the entry way! Molly and I did a fun craft with marshmallows and frosting and candy. She made a snowman family. She loved it! She got frosting on her shirt and face, but it was so fun! Hallie loves to sit by "Papa" by the fire and eat some snacks.

Jan. 2 - More lights going in - looks so good! We celebrated Nikelle's 29th! - her birthday is on the 6th!
Jan. 6 - Blake had some surgery - hernia and prostate - Brian came and got him really early in the morning, took him to Mountain View Hospital, provided his anesthesia, helped him in recovery, then brought him home. The surgery went well, and the recovery was pretty good too.
Jan. 13 - One week later, Blake had surgery again! This time it was for a torn meniscus. This time Randy took him early in the morning to Mountain View, Brian did the anesthesia again, then Randy brought him home. He never had any pain in his knee after surgery! That's quite amazing. Ryder came to visit Grandpa and thought he was funny to wear my reading glasses.
Jan. 15 - Blake spent a lot of time with his leg up, and the cool ice machine on and listening to music with his cool headphones. Now, the flooring and tile are going in at Randy and Courtney's house!

Jan. 16 - The Doctor told Blake that riding a bike was great therapy for his knee, and look at this - he could ride a bike in the middle of January!
Jan. 18 - I got to watch my cute little great nephew Paul Cook. (I also watched his brother James, but didn't get a picture of him.) Little Paul loved my high chair! and he loved watching my toes as we were sitting in the recliner. He is such a cutie!
Jan. 19 - Now there's carpet!
Jan. 20 - This was a gorgeous sunset we witnessed on the way home from Idaho Falls. I just love the clouds!
Jan. 23 - We got to tend little Miss Hallie for the morning. She loves being the only one! She was so funny in the car as we were taking her home, she would giggle just a little and say "fun".
Jan. 27 - Cement being poured for the stairs in the garage, the front porch and out the back door!
Jan. 29 - Jared laying down on the job! He's installing the under counter lights, they look so good! And, siding going on!
Jan. 30 - This is the only ballgame we got to see this year! (Because of Covid, they were only letting two spectators in the games, so we couldn't go to any.) It just so happened that Maden and Annie had ballgames at the same time, and Brian needed help getting them to the games, so we took Maden to his, and Brian went to Annie's. It was fun to watch Maden play in the main gym at Bonneville. Molly had a dance performance that we couldn't go to either, so Jared figured out how to stream it on our tv. She loves clogging and has improved so much in her other dancing.
Jan. 31 - Cindy and Ken got here! Brian, Jared, Maden and Cindy had a little game of Egyptian. It ended up with only Brian and Maden left in, and I'm not really sure who ended up winning, but Maden was thrilled to be in that long. Little miss Hallie loves reading her "Mickey" books.

November 2020

November 24 - Celia stopped by with the kids to bring me their new school pictures. It was so fun to get a quick hug!
November 26 - Thanksgiving - Started the day with a little snow, it wasn't very much to plow, but it was nice to have the driveway cleared off. This is the only pictures I got the rest of the day. Annie had a great time decorating these Thanksgiving cookies, Maden had a great time decorating one cookie!November 27 - Christmas decorations are up! This is a brand new tree that we bought after Christmas last year. We put the first layer up and turned on the lights, they worked great, then we put the 2nd layer of the tree on, the lights were all on for about 3 seconds, then they went off. We could not get them to come back on! So, we found some strings of lights in the shed and strung them on the tree. It was not a happy time!November 28 - More hanging out, including playing with play dough and playing "The Game".
