May 2025

May 1 - I got the flowers all put in the planters.  Hopefully they are secured well enough that they won't blow away.  I had a little help from this pretty kitty that wanted to play connect 4.

Penny loves to be outside.  She really loved it when Molly came to blow bubbles for her.

Then, another kitty came to visit.  Penny thought it needed to share her bear.

May 2 - I got to hang out with Cutie Cole for a bit.  Love him!

The flowers near the Pocatello Temple are so pretty!

May 3 - Archery shoot in Blackfoot.

I got to hang out with this cute Scottlynn.  Funny girl with socks on her hands, she loved the trike and then took a nap on my lap.

May 4 - The May Day Tree is very beautiful.  Scottlynn likes this toy more than Cole does.  Ryder loves reading the "year books" or Blog Books.

May 5 - Close ups and every angle of the May Day Tree.

May 7 - Celebrating Randy's birthday at Tommy Vaughn's.

May 8 - Beautiful start to the day.

I love these beautiful flowers from Cindy and Ken!

May 9 - Mother's Day luncheon at Parkwood Meadows with my parents and Kayleen and her kids.

The flowers are beautiful at the Idaho Falls Temple!

May 10 - Another gorgeous sunrise!

Most of the flowers have opened up now! So pretty!

We got to hang out with Scottlynn and Declan for awhile.  They had fun at McDonalds.

May 11 - Everyone gets to celebrate Randy.  He's old now!

Cole and Scottlynn getting acquainted. Grandpa is tickling Scottlynn.

Eating outside for the first time!

May 13 - Penny loves my flowers, she thinks they are beautiful!

She had a great time making a train with my chairs.  She couldn't quite get the concept of the last one being the caboose.  Finally, she called it a "peak a boose".

I saw a duck in the parking lot of the Idaho Falls Temple.

May 14 - The clouds are on fire!

May 18 - What a cute Cole!

May 20 - Penny and I went to watch Annie in her 6th grade track meet.  She struggled a little in the mile, but made up for it in the 4x100! Her team steam rolled everyone else!

May 21 - Beautiful Pocatello Temple.

I got to take Ryder shopping and to eat.  He chose some games from Game Stop and was thrilled with the great deal we got! Then, we went to eat at Longhorn.  They brought him a huge ice cream sundae with fancy writing on the plate.  We had a fun day! I can't believe he's turning 10 on the 23rd.

May 22 - Penny played with blankets and babies, then tried to put Grandpa's surgery hat on and told me to take a picture.

We got to go see Molly and Hallie in their dance recital.  Such good girls.

May 24 - Blake planted some more flowers on the back property line.

Everyone gets to celebrate Ryder!

An impromptu foot race.  Randy skunked everyone!

Jared gets a turn to hold Cole.

Having some fun paying soccer!

May 25 - Fun at Brian and Aubrey's house.

Cole gets to meet Brody!

All the grandkids! It's hard to take a picture with the sun in your eyes!

Such cute kids.

May 27 - Penny playing with her blankie and babies.  I couldn't figure out why her dolls were all upside down, she finally told me that they were sleeping.

Molly's Idaho history play.  It was pretty cute, and the kids all knew their parts so well.

Hallie's kindergarten graduation.  It was short and sweet and cute! Her sign says that her favorite body part is her tongue! Because she likes to eat and talk!

May 28 - Spending more time with Cole!

May 29 - Annie's 6th grade graduation.   It was short and sweet, too! We finally talked Clark into taking his sunglasses off for some pictures.

May 30 - Cole got to come to Parkwood and see Grandpa Paul, Grandma Beth and meet Great Aunt Shauna! He rolled himself under the TV table and got stuck.

May 31 - We went to a retirement party for Kent and Karen Gray.  Brian, Randy and Jared worked at their ice business for years.  It was quite fitting that Penny and Scottlynn played in the ice at the party.  Look at these two big girls!

Fun on the swings!

April 2025

April 6 - Looks like the kitty wanted to peak in. Scottlynn and Penny are becoming good friends. Scottlynn thinks there's some fun happening down stairs.  What fun to have a blanket on the floor.

April 7 - I told Annie to take my picture with this new pop, and she also took a real closeup, she thought it was so funny! Annie and Scottlynn are good buddies.

We got to watch Maden play some tennis.

April 8 - We got to tend Happy for a little while, she found out she could see out the window if she laid on the bed.

April 12 - We went to an Easter Brunch at Parkwood.  Mom and Dad had a lot of family come. Molly and Hallie were happy to have a picture with the Easter Bunny, but not Penny! She wouldn't go near him.

After brunch came the Easter egg hunt for the 7-10 year olds. They got lots of eggs.

Molly, Clark, Declan and Michael and James filled their buckets!

Next, the 1-6 years olds got to go to another area and find eggs.  Hallie, Penny and Scottlynn and Kenzley, Derek and Danielle found tons.  Paul was not thrilled about hunting for any eggs.  Mom wanted a picture with the Easter Bunny, Dad wanted to poke the kids with his cane.

Penny is sharing her candy with grandpa. I won a pizza from Homestead Pizza and Bowling we picked it up and were going to take it home, but then we got stopped on the freeway because of a wreck, so we ate pizza in the car.  It was very good!

We got to watch Cole for a little while. I just love his round little face.

April 23 - I love these pictures of Maden and Scottlyynn. He is showing her how a spinner works, she loved touching it and stopping it from spinning.

Since we had all 10 grandkids here, we got a picture.  They each have an egg to hang on the bannister.

We had our Easter "Treasure Hunt".

They found a lot of treasures.

Then the kids played games in the yard.

Brian helped the kids decorate some cookies from a kit they had bought.  Jared and Penny are just chilling.

April 14 - Blake mowed the lawn for the first time.

April 15 - Penny's reverting back to baby instead of toddler, laying on the floor playing with a baby toy.

Now, she's a big girl at Library Story Time. She loved marching with the "Band".

We got to go watch Maden again. They won in a 3rd set tie breaker! Declan wanted his picture taken! Scottlynn loved playing in the little chair.

April 16 - I thought Penny was so cute, she was so excited for Hallie to come from the bus, then a big hug.

April 17 - You have to look closely, but there are snowflakes!

Molly and Michael had a concert for their after school choir.  It was really well done, they looked like they were having fun.

April 18 - Blake and Jared are working on the new bedroom at Adam and Michelle's house. They also put up the new vanity.

We got to watch Cole again for a little while!

April 19 - I got some fun flowers put in the planter boxes on the patio. Brian and Aubrey are using the funny little spoons to eat soup at the new Japanese restaurant in Blackfoot.

April 20 - Scottlynn thinks she's as big as Declan and needs some food too.

April 24 - Penny wanted to try on one of Grandpa's surgical hats. She thought it was so cute.

April 26 - We made Suzy work when she was here. She cut Penny, Hallie and Molly's hair!

Then, she braided Hallie and Molly's hair.  It looks so good.  Such cute little girls.

Penny was not sure about Suzanne and Carter, but as soon as they would show her pictures on the phone, she was great with sitting on their laps.

April 27 - Scottlynn's reading with Grandpa.  Maden and I put the Connect Four game I won at Parkwood together. Some of the kids played a little.  A kitty came for a visit.

April 28 - Look at the duck that Lynne and I saw in a puddle in the parking lot at Michael's.

Michelle and Lynne had a dinner since Suzanne, Branson and Avery were here.  The kids ate outside and played on the tramps.  Suzy got to meet Cole! It was a fun day!

April 29 - A beautiful sunrise with some mist on the ground.

Lynne took these gorgeous pictures of the Idaho Falls temple.

Suzanne, Lynne and I got to go to the temple with our Mom! Suzanne and Mom rode the Parkway bus there and Lynne and I met them.  It was a wonderful day!
