May 2022

May 3 - This is not an old picture! It happened again!  I was changing the calendar and found wet carpet! The insulation was wet in the wall again, too! A guy came and did some fixing on the roof.  We hope this works this time!

May 5 - I got these beautiful flowers from Cindy and Ken! I love them! The carpet is dry, and the wall has been taped and textured.

May 7 - We celebrated Randy's 34th birthday at Longhorn Steakhouse.

May 9 - I got these beautiful flowers from Aubrey! I love them too!  When they pulled the paint tape off the ceiling, it also pulled the paint off the ceiling!

May 10 - Hallie enjoyed her food we got at Costa Vida, she knew exactly what she wanted.  Molly and I liked playing a matching game I made for our Primary class.  They got the ceiling fixed and repainted.

May 11 - The carpet is all laid back down, and the room all put back together!

Finally something is happening in the yard! They came and put the curbing in! It was a very interesting process to watch.

May 12 - Hallie thought she was afraid of the rocking horse at Aunt Merralee's house. (Think back to the fair last year) But, she found out this was a pretty fun horse.  Then we went to McDonald's, she loves the play area and her ice cream cone.  Then, she did not have a nap when we  got home. Wink, Wink.

May 14 - Hallie loves to help her daddy mow the lawn!

May 15 - Finally a nice enough day to play some pickle ball!

Annie and Hallie had a great time playing on the trampoline.

There was sidewalk chalk fun, games with a big ball and a bunch of swinging.

We also had a little corn hole tournament. The tulips are gorgeous, and Hallie girl is so cute!

May 19 - Hallie is "not" napping again. Hehe.  Blake bought a May Day tree, hopefully we'll be able to plant it someday.

May 20 - I got to take Ryder to lunch and shopping!  He chose to eat at Pizza Hut, he loves the breadsticks there! Then we went shopping at Walmart, he knew he wanted a certain video game and some monster trucks.  We had a fun afternoon.

We got our front door painted! I love it! They also painted the window side of the patio door that had not ever been painted.

May 21 - Lagoon!  Molly was dancing at Lagoon, so Brian took his kids, Blake and Aubrey to see her dance and play at Lagoon.  They met Jared, Nikelle and kids there.  It was a good thing Blake went, so Brian could go do the big kid stuff and Blake could take Clark to the things he was tall enough for.

Cousin Michelle Cook and her family went to Lagoon too! They all had a great time!

May 22 - Fun times at Jared and Nikelle's house.  Games, food, riding people like horses and naps!

May 23 - Ryder turned 7! Look how he has grown! He is a very smart, happy, energetic, talkative, determined, fun loving, sweet boy. We love you, Ryder!

We went to have cake and ice cream to celebrate Ryder!

May 24 - I went to watch Maden run the 200 in his 6th grade track meet.  It was really great to see him come from almost last in his heat to come in 2nd! I was so glad that I went to watch him!

I drove from Idaho Falls to Pocatello to go to the temple, it was definitely worth the drive!

May 27 - We rented a little skid loader to bring some dirt into the yard, we had some rock delivered, they came and started to prepare the driveway to be paved, and Jared started laying down the black plastic.

May 28 - Now, for some work to happen!  We rented a different skid loader to move more dirt around.  Brian came early to help get the loader from the rental place, then Jared came later and helped move the dirt.

Now, they get to move the rock into the space between the curbing and the house.  It was a lot of trips from the rock pile to the house.

They planted the tree!

The rock got placed all around the house.  It looks so good! The loader needed more weight to smooth it out in the front of the house, so Brian rode in the bucket.  We stored the loader in the garage for the rest of the weekend.

May 30 - Memorial Day - We went to the cemetery, but it was so rainy and cold that we only went to Brody's grave.

We needed a warm, dry place and ended up at Longhorn Steakhouse.  It was very yummy.
May 31 - I braved the cold and wind to go watch Molly play baseball.  So fun to watch these grandkids in all their activities.

April 2022

April 1 - I got to take this cute Miss Molly to lunch and for shopping.  Her birthday was on March 31st.  She chose to go to McDonald's because the play area is finally open.  She was very methodical in searching all the shelves in Walmart to get exactly what she wanted! It was a fun day!

Blake and Jared are digging a hole in preparation for the sprinkler system and the driveway pavement.

Tracy, the texture guy came and textured the wall in the office, getting closer to it being finished.

I made more subtle changes to my bookshelves, I kind of enjoy playing around with it.

I ordered a bench for my front porch! I love it!

April 2 - Molly's camping themed birthday party! They went on a "bear Hunt", hid stuffed animals to find and had a cute cake made by her Grandma Bair.

The texture guy came and finished his job!

The guys had their first archery shoot, the kids had fun seeing the huge Bigfoot.

April 3 - Clark lost another tooth! Pickle ball! And sidewalk chalk!

April 5 - If you look closely, you'll see snowflakes!

April 6 - I got to take Hallie to story time at the library, she loved being a pirate!

Nikelle, Molly, Hallie and I went to see Maden and Annie perform in a talent show at their school.  Hallie would only stand on Brian's lap, and wouldn't sit or stand anywhere else.  Annie performed a cheerleading routine with 3 other girls.  Maden solved a rubix cube in just a little over a minute.

April 7 - I got to take Hallie and go to Groveland Elementary School for "Donuts with a Grownup" with Molly. We ate donuts and then got to go do some activities in her classroom.

April 8 - The office is finished and all put back together!

April 9 - Blake got a new tool chest! Brian, Jared and Blake got to put it together. It'll sure help keep all the tool organized.

April 10 - What an unpleasant thing to wake up to, snow in April!

April 11 - Yep more snow! My car was all iced over, the flakes were huge and the wipers couldn't keep up with them.

April 12 - Yep, snow again!

April 13 - And, snow again!

April 14 - Can you find the hidden objects in these photos? The moon was amazing, but my picture taking skills are not! Hallie was hiding in our closet and was so amazed that I found her so easily.

April 15 - We decided to have a sleepover with all of our grandkids! They had all asked when they could come sleep over at our new house, so we decided to have them all come at one time.  We took them to McDonalds, everyone but Maden had a great time in the play place.  Maden spent his time amazing me with his skills with  Wordle type games on my phone.

After McDonalds, we watch the first Sonic movie.  The kids all enjoyed it! Clark and Ryder got to sleep in the guest room upstairs, Annie, Molly and Hallie slept in the twin beds and a mattress on the floor in the basement, Maden got the suite room and had a long shower in his own little bathroom.

April 16 - For some reason, everyone but Maden got up really early.  We found these 4 watching tv in this bed before 7 a.m.

We took a picture of all of them together.  I can't believe how big they are getting! They were such good sports about getting a picture.

The kids all colored some paper eggs and made Easter Bunnies by tracing their hands, then we made it into a garland for my stairs. Declan came and made some too!

We played an Easter themed bingo!

Then, with the help of their dads and Nikelle and Aubrey we had a fun treasure hunt.  I think they found some good prizes. Then we had pizza for lunch.

After lunch, we dyed eggs. It's quite the process helping so many little hands! Clark hugged me after we were done with the eggs, and thanked me for letting them dye eggs, he said he loved it!

April 23 - I got to go watch Molly in her dance performance.  She was pretty nervous before, but then did really well in the performance.
Jared and Blake got my patio furniture put together! Now I just hope it ever warms up enough to enjoy it!  Can you see Molly peeking out the door? She was keeping me updated on the score of the Jazz game!

April 26 - I think I have the coolest niece! Michelle came and dusted all our walls with this long handled mop.  Hallie still loves this baby swing!

April 28 - For Mother's Day and Father's Day, Brian gave us tickets to the Jazz playoff game! And a hotel room after the game.  We stopped in Bountiful on our way down.  We were going to eat at Iggy's, but it has been demolished and replaced with a bank, so we ate at In 'n Out.  We were in heaven as we smelled the flowering trees.  There is hope for spring!

Before the game we got some yummy gelato, and Blake got a loaded hot dog.  We found Mikala Fairbanks! I was not that impressed with the T-shirts that were on our seats, I liked the ones I'd seen from previous games better.

We had amazing seats! 23 rows up, right on center court! Even though the Jazz lost at the end, it was a great game! I loved seeing things that you just don't see on TV. It was so nice to walk just 1/2 block to our hotel after the game.  Thanks, Brian for the fun gift!

April 29 - When we got home from Utah, Randy came over and helped us put some rails and hooks up in the garage. He also helped put a cabinet together.  We bought some hydrangea plants so we can eventually plant them in the yard.

April 30 - We got to go watch Ryder play soccer! It was not very warm, but maybe not as cold to some of us as it was to Blake!

Brian and the kids came down, Maden was so happy that he was able to make this fancy magnet block sphere, or something.  He said that he and Corbin had tried to make one last summer and couldn't figure out to do it. Then, it was more pickle ball time!
