June 2026

 June 2 - The lavender plant looks good all tied up so it's not falling down.

I didn't get pictures of the measuring, but here are the stats for the kids heights.

June 3 - Brian and Blake working hard!

Randy came to get the lawn mower and Ryder drove it home.

Jared came and cut a hole in our garage wall.He was representing Tobin's Restoration. This is where we had water come down the wall due to the roof around the pillar being done incorrectly.

June 4 - I love when the flowers start to bloom! Now, Jared is getting the mold out of the wall.

June 7 - We celebrated Clark! He will turn 11 on the 18th!

June 9 - Blake and I celebrated our 48th Wedding Anniversary! We went to the Rexburg Temple and then to eat at the Hickory.

June 12 - Mikala (Courtney's sister) married Jaelen Matthews in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. Ryder, Cole, Molly, Hallie and Penny all waited outside while we attended the sealing.  It was a gorgeous day.

I had fun taking pictures of the kids and Randy while we waited for Mikala and Jaelen to come out. Randy is wearing Blake's old suit, it's the suit Blake wore when Randy and Courtney got married. Mikala and Jaelen look so happy!

After the wedding, we stopped at Krispy Kremes.  Molly, Hallie and Penny loved watching the donuts being made.  Penny said that was the most fun thing we did.

 Cole loved sitting on Jared's lap because he fed him the yummy refreshments at the reception. It was very nice and such good food.  Cole and Penny loved playing Connect 4 outside.

June 13 - Blake and I stopped at a Red Lobster on our way home. Yum!

June 14 -  Jared came to fix our broken big garage door, so it will open.

June 15 - My new hobby! These are acrylic suncatcher puzzles.  They are so fun and I'm addicted.  You can see that I've given some away, but I still have more! I hope those that have them are enjoying them.

June 16 - I got to take cute Clark to lunch and shopping before he turns 11! We went to Chick Fit A to eat before they close for renovations. Then he found the game he wanted at Game Stop and a whole box of pretzel bites that he didn't want to have to share.  It was a fun day!

Penny and Hallie got to help me decorate the front porch and entryway for the 4th of July. They were such good helpers.

June 17 - I found these fun puff paint kits for Hallie and Penny to do while they got to come stay with me for a few days. They loved them!

Cole came to visit! Jared ate outside when he came to pick up the girls.

June 18 - Scottlynn came to play, too!

Jared helped Blake tie up the lavender again.

The flowers are all looking so good!

June 19 - I picked Hallie and Penny up at their house after I got done at the gym.  We had to park my car across Worthen Road because they were seal coating our road.  We had quite the adventure walking in the rocks on our way to our house.

Then, we had another adventure getting back to the car.  The adventures weren't very fun when we discovered all the goat heads in our shoes! When we came home, luckily we could drive on the road and park in the garage.  When we got parked in the garage, Penny said "I'm so glad we don't have to have any more "ventures"."

We had a nice BBQ at Parkwood with my parents.  Cole had a great time entertaining Grandma Beth. 

June 20 - We got to watch Cole and Ryder for the afternoon.  Cole loved chasing bubbles! When we took Cole home to put him to bed, I got to watch Ryder take care of Happy's mess in the yard.  Good job Ryder.

June 21 - Blake got a pie from the ward for Fathers Day.  Cindy sent a box of yummy treats.

June 22 - I just can't get enough of these flowers! 

June 27 - Celebrate Blackfoot. It was a cold windy night, so we watched the fireworks from Randy's back yard.  Ryder, Molly and Hallie raced around the yard to get warmed up.

We could see the fireworks pretty good! It was a great show. It was very nice not to have to fight the crowds to get home.

While they were going for a little stroll and scooter ride, Jared tried to give a cat a ride. I don't think it liked it very much.

Cole was really talking to this bear.  Then he and Penny were playing and talking so cute in the hall.

June 29 - Just doing some changing up.  New bedspread on our bed. Different bed and head and foot boards in the guest bedroom.
