Jan. 1 - Jared, Randy and Blake started the trimming of the electrical in Randy & Courtney's house. Look at the cool light in the entry way! Molly and I did a fun craft with marshmallows and frosting and candy. She made a snowman family. She loved it! She got frosting on her shirt and face, but it was so fun! Hallie loves to sit by "Papa" by the fire and eat some snacks.
Jan. 2 - More lights going in - looks so good! We celebrated Nikelle's 29th! - her birthday is on the 6th!
Jan. 6 - Blake had some surgery - hernia and prostate - Brian came and got him really early in the morning, took him to Mountain View Hospital, provided his anesthesia, helped him in recovery, then brought him home. The surgery went well, and the recovery was pretty good too.
Jan. 13 - One week later, Blake had surgery again! This time it was for a torn meniscus. This time Randy took him early in the morning to Mountain View, Brian did the anesthesia again, then Randy brought him home. He never had any pain in his knee after surgery! That's quite amazing. Ryder came to visit Grandpa and thought he was funny to wear my reading glasses.
Jan. 15 - Blake spent a lot of time with his leg up, and the cool ice machine on and listening to music with his cool headphones. Now, the flooring and tile are going in at Randy and Courtney's house!
Jan. 16 - The Doctor told Blake that riding a bike was great therapy for his knee, and look at this - he could ride a bike in the middle of January!
Jan. 18 - I got to watch my cute little great nephew Paul Cook. (I also watched his brother James, but didn't get a picture of him.) Little Paul loved my high chair! and he loved watching my toes as we were sitting in the recliner. He is such a cutie!
Jan. 19 - Now there's carpet!
Jan. 20 - This was a gorgeous sunset we witnessed on the way home from Idaho Falls. I just love the clouds!
Jan. 23 - We got to tend little Miss Hallie for the morning. She loves being the only one! She was so funny in the car as we were taking her home, she would giggle just a little and say "fun".
Jan. 27 - Cement being poured for the stairs in the garage, the front porch and out the back door!
Jan. 29 - Jared laying down on the job! He's installing the under counter lights, they look so good! And, siding going on!
Jan. 30 - This is the only ballgame we got to see this year! (Because of Covid, they were only letting two spectators in the games, so we couldn't go to any.) It just so happened that Maden and Annie had ballgames at the same time, and Brian needed help getting them to the games, so we took Maden to his, and Brian went to Annie's. It was fun to watch Maden play in the main gym at Bonneville. Molly had a dance performance that we couldn't go to either, so Jared figured out how to stream it on our tv. She loves clogging and has improved so much in her other dancing.
Jan. 31 - Cindy and Ken got here! Brian, Jared, Maden and Cindy had a little game of Egyptian. It ended up with only Brian and Maden left in, and I'm not really sure who ended up winning, but Maden was thrilled to be in that long. Little miss Hallie loves reading her "Mickey" books.
