From Garage to Laundry Room

When Brian and Celia moved to Texas, we decided it would be a good time to freshen up the house before Randy and Courtney moved in. They painted the whole thing a nice light brown color. Then we got the idea to move the laundry facilities from the basement to a room in the back of the garage. The only problem is, there was no room in the garage. Well, my brother, Randy Chambers just happened to have the abilities, skills and time to build that room. He is amazing, he designed, then built a very nice laundry room! Blake and Randy Purcell helped him quite a bit, and enjoyed working with him, and spending time with him.

This is what happened in the garage.
This is how it all began.
This is how it looks all finished! If you think that's amazing, just wait till you see inside!
Removing the door, so they can put it in its new spot, proved to be one of the most difficult tasks.
The new door frame.
Building new stairs, cause they covered up the cement ones that were there.
I don't have many pictures of the inside work happening, but it looks really nice! Here they are, moving the dryer in.
Randy C. and his amazing work.

From the living room looking into the laundry room.
Randy C. thought it would add a real nice touch to have this little bench, shelf and cupboard on the wall opposite the washer and dryer. I agree! It looks wonderful! He built it all!
This is how it looks from the living room. If you didn't already know that it was added on, you couldn't tell.
Thank you Randy C.! We sure do appreciate your talents! Randy and Courtney will appreciate you even more every time they do laundry!
